Rod Christenson, CEO
Rod Christenson was named the new CEO of Finley Engineering in late 2007. Prior to joining the company, Christenson was president of Mid-America Computer Corporation where in just nine years, he grew company revenues to $20 million annually. He also significantly reduced employee turnover during his tenure. Part of Christenson’s success was due to his emphasis on customer service and satisfaction, which included the creation of a Client Advisory Council to provide valuable customer input into the development of new products and services.
Before joining Mid America, Christenson was the director of strategic account development for Inacom Corporation of Omaha, Neb., where he was responsible for the development of new account management programs designed to support the company’s largest customers.
Christenson’s career path has also included Manpower International, American Family Insurance and IBM Corporation. He has a bachelor’s degree from Dana College in Blair, Neb., and a Master of Science degree from the University of Nebraska – Omaha.
